After Aerosmith, Metallica, and Van Halen, are the Red Hot Chili Peppers next in line to get their own Guitar Hero game? If a purported survey gauging interest in such a title is to be believed, then it looks like the answer is yes, yes they are.

Kotaku reports that such a survey was forwarded to them, which describes the game as similar to past band-centric titles: The soundtrack would be made up mostly of greatest hits from the Red Hot Chili Peppers' discography, and also some songs from guest bands chosen by the Chili Peppers themselves.

"Celebrate the entirety of the Red Hot Chili Peppers' life, starting with their early days in LA, to their famous Hyde Park concert to their highly anticipated new studio album," the survey reportedly states. "Discover the story behind their legendary music as you unlock interviews, retrospectives, concert footage and other commentary." Other albums mentioned in the survey were By the Way and Californication, in addition to the previous mention of their upcoming new album.
